Even with the brightest monitor on the market you will always struggle with direct sunlight hitting the screen.
This new custom-made hood in combination with the fabric cloth will be the most budget-friendly and color accurate(ish) setup to bring on set against the sun. The fabric can optionally be thrown over your head and will block every bit of light hitting the screen. This will certainly give decent large-format vintage vibes on set.
As it is breathable as well, chances are high that somebody might just try to hide and cool down under it occasionally as well.
